Get WishNap

Stop impulse buying. Let the wish take a nap first.

WishNap is an iPhone app for the things you want to buy right now. Share one to WishNap instead of the cart. It waits on a timer that fits the price, then asks: do you still want it?

For the buys you didn’t plan.

WishNap is for anyone who buys on impulse and wishes they hadn’t. It doesn’t lecture you, and it never stops you buying. It puts a pause between wanting something and paying for it.

  • The late-night scroll

It’s 1am, the cart is full, and everything looks like a good idea.

  • The countdown sale

“Only 3 left” and “Ends in 2 hours” are there to rush you. A nap takes the rush out.

  • The bad-day treat

Bored, stressed or lonely? Tag the feeling when you park something. When it wakes up, you’ll see how you felt, and WishNap Pro shows the pattern.

  • The one-tap checkout

Saved cards make buying instant. WishNap puts a nap back between the tap and the charge.

How it works

Not no. Just not yet.

Three steps. One of them is a nap.

  1. Share it

Tap Share in Safari or a shopping app and pick WishNap. Instead of the cart, it goes to bed.

  2. Let it nap

It naps in your Parked list, longer for pricier things. You, meanwhile, can go to sleep.

  3. Decide awake

When it wakes up, one question: do you still want it? If not, its price joins your “not spent” total.

Some wishes look different after a nap. If this one doesn’t, yes is a fine answer.

Answer right from the notification.

It won’t wake you: no notifications between 10pm and 8am, and never more than two a day.

What you kept

Every no quietly adds up.

Each thing you let go adds its price to your “not spent” total. With WishNap Pro, point it at something you’d rather have, like a week in Lisbon.

Privacy

Your wishlist is nobody’s business.

No account. No login. No server of ours.

  • Nothing to sign up for. No email to hand over, no password to forget.
  • It naps at your place, not ours. Your list lives on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud. We can’t see it.
  • No analytics. Names, links, prices and notes never come to us, and WishNap collects no usage statistics. Each time it opens, it checks your subscription with RevenueCat using a random ID and an identifier iOS gives the app, never your name or Apple ID.
  • Nothing to connect. No bank, no cards. You tell it about one wish at a time.
  • No ads. No tracking. We don’t sell data.
  • Yours to keep, yours to delete. Export your list, decisions and goals as a file any time (photos aren’t included). Delete all data in Settings erases WishNap’s data on your iPhone and, while iCloud is on for WishNap, in your iCloud too.

Questions

More in Support.

Who is WishNap for?

Anyone who buys things on impulse and wants to spend on purpose instead. You don’t need a budget to start. Park the next thing you’re about to buy, and see how you feel about it later.

Can it help with a shopping addiction?

WishNap is a tool for impulse buying, not a treatment. If shopping feels out of control, or it’s causing debt or distress, WishNap can sit alongside support from a doctor, a therapist or a group like Debtors Anonymous. It isn’t a replacement for them.

Does it block shopping apps or websites?

Only if you ask it to. Quiet hours for shops, part of WishNap Pro, rest the shopping apps and websites you pick during the hours you set. Opening one shows a pause screen, and you can always get through: in “Pause first” you take a short breath, then that one shop opens for 15 minutes; in “Block”, one tap opens your shops for 15 minutes. Outside quiet hours, or if you never set them up, nothing is blocked. See how quiet hours work.

Which stores does it work with?

Any product page in Safari, and most shopping apps with a Share button. You can also add something by hand with a name and a price.

What if I still want it after the nap?

Then buy it. Still wanting something after a nap is a fine reason to have it. WishNap logs it without judgment.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up and no login. Your list stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud.

Give the next wish a nap.

It’ll keep. You’ll decide.
